You will work at our Emerson Real-Time Modeling System (RTMS) / Bio-G division, which specializes in process simulation and finite scheduling.

 


AS A SENIOR INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER, YOU WILL: 



Lead RTMS projects


Present results and have the ability to make recommendations for our clients


Ability to guide clients to successful implementations and set customer expectations


Using discrete event simulation to model complex processes (modeling experience required)


Debottlenecking and capacity engineering of manufacturing systems


Creation of statistical models for use in process engineering, supply chain, etc.


Managemement of corporate data sources such as SAP, Oracle, DeltaV, OSISoft PI, Maximo, etc. and integrating these sources into software


Supporting the software and working with clients


Good communication skills to implement client changes into the models


Developing algorithms for design of experiment, display of data, optimization and efficiency methods


Ability to work on a timeline with deliverables with a project team


Assisting in debugging the software and developing product features and enhancements

','!*!REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:






A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science


5 years of relevant experience


Using discrete event simulation to model complex processses; modeling experience required


Creation of statistical models for use in process engineering, supply chain, etc.


VBA programming skills, Excel, SQL and databases


Good communication skills




 PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:  




A background in biotech or pharma is a plus
