The Business Performance Management lead is responsible for developing a performance culture within the Strategic Sourcing and Procurement (SS&P) team and for end to end development of a scorecard for SS&P's overall performance and contribution to BMS's overall mission. This role is accountable for working cross-functionally, among senior leadership, to define the scorecard for SS&P and provide ongoing reporting and analytics/insights capabilities in relation to performance metrics, key strategic and transformation initiatives. Additionally, this individual is expected to analyze performance and make fact-based recommendations to close gaps against targets. This individual is expected to have a strong understanding of procurement and the supply chain process, including an understanding of various metrics used to measure success, beyond traditional levers. In addition, this role is expected to establish a robust governance framework to manage the end-to-end business performance management process, including changes to KPI's, modifications to scorecard, target setting, etc. Require expertise in business data story-telling skills and prefer experience with setting up platforms with data visualization and reporting technologies.
Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Lead Business Performance Management Capability, in close collaboration with SS&P Strategy & BPM Lead, cross-functional SS&P leads and BI&A
Define, Develop and Manage SS&P performance scorecard an ensure alignment to functional vision and corporate objectives:
Work closely with cross-functional leadership to define performance metrics and targets
Work with stakeholder groups and initiative owners to define metrics for on-going transformation and strategic initiatives within SS&P
Define, govern, and implement control framework for actively managing metrics
Establish and oversee standards and processes for ongoing scorecard management
Ensure alignment of metrics to functional vision and overall company strategic roadmap
Design and develop data-visualization and story-telling based interface which is intuitive with multiple stakeholder views
Oversee tracking of scorecard metrics and generate actionable recommendations and Insights for SS&P leadership team to close gaps:
Update scorecard as required throughout the yearby working with various stakeholders across functions to collect and interpret data
Answer key business questions by generating business insights, analyzing trends, identifying root causes, and providing actionable recommendations.
Utilize analytics & digital tools to track and report on scorecard
Report progress of SCM, SRM, Risk and other SS&P internal strategic and transformation initiatives, including but not limited to Multi-Year Productivity Plan, SI,etc.,
Work with leadership to analyze trends, identify potential shortfalls, and develop response plans as needed
Be able to develop and drive data-visualization and story-telling on key metrics and insights
Drive continuous improvement by fostering relationships with internal and external stakeholders on Business Performance Management capability
Collaborate with cross-functional leadership teams (Finance, BI&A, etc.,) to define on-going reporting and monitoring capabilities
Collaborate with BI&A team to build data infrastructure for automated reporting
Foster relationships with external consultants to drive continuous improvements on reporting and monitoring capabilities

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
B.S./B.A.
Minimum of 6 years of business experience, or directly relevant experience
Minimum of 4-6 years of multi-disciplined procurement experience or relevant experience
Minimum of 2 years Pharmaceutical Procurement experience or relevant experience
Experience leading and participating on cross-functional and/or global teams
Managerial experience including managing teams of senior professionals and managers and establishing performance expectations
Internal stakeholder management, data/information management, data visualization, business storytelling, process redesign and continuous improvement expertise, project management and performance measurement skills
Procurement process knowledge, financial analysis, market analysis, supplier analysis, supplier diversity, supplier management, technology utilization, strategic planning and integrated supply chain experience
Preferred Qualifications:
M.S./M.B.A.
Data Storytelling or Visualization skills
