The Digital Capability Management (DCM) role has accountability for the delivery and ongoing operational support for capabilities within Regulatory and World Wide Patient Safety. In this role, the DCM will be responsible for end to end capability ownership (planning, implementation to retirement), including:
Serving as a point of contact and escalation to ensure system availability and incident resolution.
Leading operational activities such as maintenance and break-fix releases, security assessments, regulatory risk assessments, incident response, etc.
Communicating with stakeholders and partners across IT and Business functions.
Working closely with IT Business Partners to define a 5 year strategic and financial roadmap.
Estimating implementation and ongoing operational costs for new and established capabilities.
Collaborating with a matrix team (i.e., Business, Enterprise Architecture, Data Management, etc.) to analyze solutions and develop a business case.
Co-authoring, reviewing, and approving regulatory and operational documentation.
Performing demand management and prioritization on enhancements and new features.

Organizational Ability & Project Management: many of the tasks a DCM performs are part of a project or require follow-up. Being well organized is a must.
Prioritization & Stakeholder Management: Ability to understand, prioritize, and communicate IT needs to our business colleagues and stakeholders.
Technically competent and aware of cutting edge technologies used across the industry.
Problem Solving, Reasoning, and Creativity to deliver innovative and workable solutions to address challenges
Required Experience:
Five (5) or more years’ experience managing projects or IT technologies to demonstrate that the oversight required in this role is something the candidate already possesses.
Historical employment experience that demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively to stakeholders throughout the organization.
Experience working in a regulated environment such as pharmaceuticals, finance, insurance, etc.
Ideal Candidates Would Also Have:
Technical competency and awareness of innovative technologies used across the bio-pharma industry.

Other Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
Previous experience leading a team preferred, but not required
