The
Skaggs School of Pharmacy
at the
University of Montana
is seeking qualified applicants for a 0.9 FTE, academic year, non-tenure track clinical faculty appointment in the Department of Pharmacy Practice beginning in the 2023-2024 academic year. The Assistant Clinical Faculty member will be primarily responsible for didactic teaching in the doctor of pharmacy program practice skills labs and lectures with some service responsibilities. Scholarship will be an optional activity. Specific course assignment will be made based on the successful candidate’s experience and expertise. Duties will include organizing assigned courses, preparing materials, teaching lab sessions and lectures, and assessing student learning. Tentative start date will be August 2023.
The Department of Pharmacy Practice is comprised of 13 tenure track faculty and 5 non-tenure track faculty and fellows and numerous clinical instructors and affiliates located throughout the state of Montana. Class size is capped at 65 students, which allows for better interaction and learning experiences.
