A New Jersey pharmaceutical manufacturing and consulting firm is looking to add as many as 150 jobs to its company through new expansion plans.
The company, Isogen, plans to build a $115 million facility in New Castle County and spend $2.5 million on design and site preparation.
Isogen’s expansion plans come with hopes of filling a niche in its industry. The company plans on manufacturing small- to medium-scale injectable drugs for clinical trials and early commercial sales.
For relocating to Delaware, Isogen has received a $1.5 million loan from the Delaware Economic Development Office.
The loan can become a grant if the company creates 19 jobs with minimum salaries of $48,000 by 2011, creates 129 jobs with minimum salaries of $50,000 between 2012 and 2022, and meets specific corporate performance standards by 2011.
