The company is a clinical-stage biotech developing novel cellular immunotherapies based on two distinct and complementary platforms - Chimeric Antigen Receptors (CARs) and T Cell Receptors (TCRs) technologies. Our goal is to revolutionize medicine by re-engaging the body's immune system to treat cancer.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
Experimental contribution to Cell Processing Technologies development in context of cell manufacturing involving profound knowledge of molecular and cellular biology
Work with unpurified and purified human blood specimens (including stimulation with different agents, cultivation, genetic modification etc.)
Execution of different cell sorting techniques at different experimental scales
Development of new cell/liquid handling procedures and functional tests
Largely self-organized laboratory work with skilled colleagues that may include exchange across functional teams/sites
Diligent analysis and documentation of results
Knowledge and skills required
Extensive experience in handling and culture of human immune cells
Experience in handling, modifying and analyzing T-cells
Strong willingness to learn new cutting-edge methodologies
Strong team player.
All activities are to be done in a compliant, effective and efficient manner in accordance with the timelines and quality agreement.
A Bachelor, Master or Laboratory Technician degree
At least 4 years proven experience as Research Associate or Technician
Knowledge of immunology
Excellent communication and writing skills in English (required) and German (beneficial)
Strong communication and people skills
Proficiency knowledge of MS office, GraphPad Prism, and FlowJo
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
