Roles and Responsibilities

We are seeking a talented Research Associate, with some experience in studying cancer biology. This position will play an essential role in a multi-disciplinarian team focused on understanding mechanisms of resistance to immunotherapy. The qualified candidate will aid the advancement of profiling the epigenetic state of tumors and tumor microenvironment in the IO setting. The ideal candidate must have experience working with cell lines, tissues and PBMCs and cell and molecular biology hands-on applications. The qualified candidate will be able to optimize and implement protocols for assays preferably for ATACseq profiling in support of translational research activities. We are looking for someone who is capable to work in a fast-paced and highly-matrixed multi-disciplinary research environment and is enthusiastic about cancer research.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements


A B.S. with a minimum of 1-2 years of post-graduate industry/academic research experience in cancer biology, cellular and molecular biology, or a closely related field, is required. Experience in immuno-oncology research is a plus.





Demonstrated independence in experimental design, execution, data analysis and troubleshooting is required.

Ideally candidate will have developed lab techniques that address the mechanisms of therapeutic response and resistance utilizing epigenetic profiling





Demonstrated hands-on experience with tissue and PBMC handling, DNA/RNA isolation, qPCR and general molecular biology techniques.





Proficiency in utilizing software such as Powerpoint, Microsoft office, etc, for data analysis and figure generation is required.





Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-faced and dynamic environment is essential.





Effective communication of work, plans and progress using written and verbal communication in small and group settings.





Attention to details with excellent organizational skills, and accurate record keeping is a requirement.
