Kelly has been providing outstanding employment opportunities to the most talented individuals in the marketplace.u00a0 We are proud to offer a temporary position with a client that is seeking a Research Associate III, Quality Control (2nd Shift) in Huntsville, AL.u00a0 If interested/available, please reach out to Bryan Heffley directly at ****0a0nPAY:u00a0 Negotiable u2013 W2nDURATION:u00a0 3 monthsnLOCATION:u00a0 Huntsville, ALnSCHEDULE:u00a0 Mon u2013 Fri (4pm-1am)nu00a0nDuties:nntResponsible for conducting routine and non-routine analysis of raw materials, in progress and finished formulations according to standard operating procedures.ntApplies knowledge of good manufacturing practices and good laboratory practices daily.ntCompiles data for documentation of test procedures and prepares reports.ntCalibrates and maintains lab equipment.ntReviews data obtained for compliance to specifications and reports abnormalities.ntRevises and updates standard operating procedures as needed.ntSupports product development as needed.nnu00a0nSkills:nntPerforms data analysis, troubleshooting and problem solving.ntMay assist with training analysts.ntSupports QC release and stability testing.ntPerforms various analyses, such as HPLC, NMR, UV-Vis spectroscopy, particle size determination and moisture analysis.ntMaintains accurate and well-organized laboratory record and worksheets.ntPerforms work following SOPs and GMPs.ntPerforms other duties as assigned.nnu00a0nEducation:nntA minimum of a Bacheloru2019s degree in a scientific discipline is required.ntEquivalent experience may be accepted.ntA minimum of 5 years related experience is required.ntA minimum of 4 yearsu2019 experience in the pharmaceutical industry working in a GMP environment is required.ntMust have a demonstrated working knowledge of scientific principles.ntPractical experience in HPLC, UV/Vis spectroscopy, and wet chemistry is required.ntMust be experienced in data analysis.ntKnowledge of FDA regulations and cGMPs for drugs and/or device are required.ntExperience in data analysis, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills is required.ntGood oral and written communication skills are required.ntGood computer and documentation skills are essential.ntMust be well organized and willing to work as part of a team.nnu00a0nAdditional Requirements:nntEmployees must be able to lift or handle objects greater than 25 pounds to perform certain duties essential to the job function.ntEmployees may be required to perform tasks essential to the job function in areas that require the use of hearing protection devices.ntPerformance of tasks essential to the job function may require the employee to work directly with, handle, or otherwise encounter chemicals or pharmaceutical agents.ntEmployees must be able to wear a respiratory protection (filtering facepiece, 1/2 face, full-face, or powered air purifying respirator, supplied air, or self-contained breathing apparatus) for certain tasks essential to the job function.ntEmployees must be able to maneuver themselves under 30-inch clearances.ntEmployees must be able to able to accurately detect color and have 20/20 vision (with/without corrective lenses).ntEmployees may be required to enroll in a medical surveillance program based on the potential exposure to certain health hazards encountered because of their job function.nYou should know: Your safety matters!
