MEDICAL LABORATORY TECHNOLOGIST I (DAY SHIFT)','LAB005VX','!*!Performs a variety of patient testing and administrative tasks in support of the clinical activities in the UNCHCS.

This position is located in the Central Processing area of the Microbiology laboratory. Duties include plating microbiology cultures both manually and using Total Laboratory Automation, troubleshooting automation, reading Gram stains, performing rapid molecular testing and accessioning specimens. Hours are 9:00am-5:30pm Monday-Friday with every fourth weekend and rotating holidays.
