We can’t begin to describe how much we appreciate our Pharmacists. Not only are they responsible for making sure our patients receive their prescribed medication, but they also have to work with those patients and their families on how and when to take them correctly. They sometimes have to get creative. They work for our patients, from reconciling medications from different healthcare professionals to talking to patients about medication discounts and coupons. What you’ll do:
Provides direct pharmacy services to patients, including compounding, dispensing, counseling and advising
Communicates and interacts with hospital staff and physicians in all matters of services and drug therapy as appropriate
Inspects inventory to ensure that drugs which are outdated are removed from stock and replaced
Participates in the development and implementation of policies and procedures for pharmacy operation
Monitors and assists with the utilization and quality improvement surrounding the use of automated technology
