Responsibilities
The Human Resource Leader will advise and consult with the Global Quality and Operations business across multiple divisions and geographical locations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to staffing, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, training and organizational development.The successful candidate will have a broad HR background and will be proficient in: \u2022 Diagnosing HR issues and working with assigned leaders and their teams to develop appropriate plans and strategies. \u2022 Executing an HR strategy at the divisional and regional levels by providing advice and guidance to the business on HR related issues, such as, staffing, workforce planning, performance management, progressive counseling (PIP), organizational development, compensation administration, HR systems etc., while ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
\u2022 Developing, interpreting, and analyzing data extracts and reports from automated HR databases and/or develop the most efficient and effective automated systems approaches for presenting HR reports, dashboards, and graphics for supported organizations.\u2022 Conducting Talent & Organizational Assessment for managers and team. Will work with client groups to conduct workforce planning in support of the HR overall plan.\u2022 Ensuring consistent application and compliance of human resources polices and employment laws and regulations.\u2022 Identifyhing learning and development needs and works with the L&OE - COE in the development and implementation of programs. Acts as a facilitator as needed.\u2022 Identifying and collaborating with COEs and other disciplines as needed to resolve HR issues. Serves as the SME on Tier 2 employee conflicts and works with the HRSD \u2013 Employee Relations COE on escalating complex employee relations issues.\u2022 Performing research and analysis on HR projects and prepares reports for management and HR leadership. Recommends and implements HR solutions and/or programs to meet specific business needs.\u2022 Advising and consulting on termination issues. \u2022 Talent Acquisition - Ensures recruitment and interviewing is targeted to strategic business objectives.\u2022 Position management throughout Oracle ERP system.\u2022 Performing other related duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s degree required. Master's degree in HR or related field preferred.\u2022 Minimum of 7 years related experience, pharmaceutical or medical device industry experience preferred.
\u2022 Matrix HR support and multiple site leadership experience. \u2022 Experience in a Shared Services structure with Commercial Experience/Exposure desired.\u2022 HR colleague management and development.\u2022 Stays up to date on trends and developments within HR, the functional area as well as the medical device industry.\u2022 Knowledge of the principles and practices of organizational development with the ability to positively impact the structure, culture, and effectiveness of the organization.\u2022 Knowledge of HR policies and practices, employment laws and regulations.\u2022 Experience supporting multiple client groups and demonstrated ability in understanding the business while effectively implementing HR strategies to support business goals.\u2022 Strong interpersonal, communication and consulting skills. Ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.\u2022 Ability to handle and resolve ambiguous, confidential, and sensitive situations and issues of a complex nature.\u2022 Strong organizational, analytical, problem solving and project management skills.
