Teva is searching for an ambitious and dynamic Digital Pharmaceutical Sales Representative to join our Digital Health and Innovations Team in the Chicago, IL area! The Digital Pharmaceutical Sales Representative possesses an understanding of organizational objectives and aligns resources appropriately to meet those objectives. It is important that while in pursuit of goal achievement, this person will uphold the culture and values of Teva in all interactions and business matters. This person must be comfortable with effectively and appropriately analyzing trends and applying knowledge from customer interactions in order to deliver value. The Digital Pharmaceutical Sales Representative must be able to build and effectively maintain strong, mutually beneficial networks and relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. It is required that this individual possesses impactful and influential communication and presentation skills. It is important that The Digital Pharmaceutical Sales Representative will work to keep goals in mind while moving the customer towards the solution.
Achieve all sales performance goals and objectives for geographical assignment
Build rapport and relationships by interacting effectively with employees and external contacts (i.e., Health Care Professionals and office staff) at all levels, demonstrating the awareness of their needs and responding with the appropriate action
Provide Digital healthcare product demonstrations, physician detailing and in-servicing of products to current and potential customers
Consult with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, as well as medical office staff to appropriately promote product and provide product and patient education
Regularly review and analyze all available sales data in order to create effective territory plans and utilize promotional budget funds
Maintain a call average as outlined in the sales plan, defined as face-to-face interactions, with healthcare providers focusing on top target customers
Apply a range of traditional and non-traditional problem-solving techniques to think through and resolve issues creatively to improve performance and company effectiveness
Adhere to all Teva’s policies and guidelines
Along with a results-oriented mindset, self-assurance and an engaging manner, the ideal candidate must meet the following requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required
Desire to promote digital health product and other products as needed after successfully completing training
Competitive in nature
Well-developed written and oral communication skills
Strong data and analytical ability to review individual results vs expected sales metrics
Ability to interact with Health Care Professionals in both face-to-face and virtual environments, and be proficient with digital technology
Demonstrated leadership and/or strong interpersonal skills
Ability to train individuals on applications with both Apple and/or Android devices
Demonstrated social selling skills
Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and willingness to learn new platforms
Ability to apply critical thinking and demonstrate solution-oriented approach to challenging situations
Ability to effectively train and present information while demonstrating professional business etiquette and protocols
Candidate must successfully pass background, to include drug screening
Ability to travel as required, which may include overnight and/or weekend travel
Valid US driver’s license and acceptable driving record required
Occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds
Respiratory Sales experience preferred but not required
Teva Pharmaceuticals USA, Inc. requires all U.S. new hires to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (unless an accommodation is legally required) prior to the first day of Teva employment. As required by applicable law, however, Teva will consider requests for reasonable accommodations.
Additionally, U.S. new hires for customer facing roles will be required to complete all credentialing requirements for access to their customers’ targets within 60 days of their start date. Such credentialing requirements may include, but are not limited to, additional vaccinations and medical testing. Any request for an exception to the credentialing requirements will need to be approved by the national sales leader within the first 60 days of employment.
The starting annual base salary for this position is $60,000 with a Sales Incentive Target of $42,000. A successful employee is also eligible for a $10,000 (less all applicable deductions and withholdings) bonus, payable after one year of employment within the Digital Health / Respiratory team.
