International markets represent significant growth opportunities for the pharmaceutical industry and for Lilly. One key element of our strategy is to grow our international business and as a result, we need talented individuals from highly ranked business schools to be part of our leadership team.
Lilly is seeking intern candidates who are committed to an initial full-time position based in their country of origin which provides the foundational platform to learn the industry and understand our customers (patients, payers, and providers). Internships may be based in Indianapolis OR the home country. MBAs will leverage and develop their leadership skills in their home affiliate as part of a global culture dedicated to employee development.
Enrolled in an MBA program
Graduate by August 2020
Successful completion of pre-employment assessment
Authorized to work for one of the countries listed: Austria, Australia, Brazil, Egypt, France, Germany, India, Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom
The functional area of entry is typically marketing, with likely an initial rotation in sales
Previous pharmaceutical or healthcare experience is a plus

Language fluency for country of work authorization
Language fluency in English (both written and verbal)
All interns will receive a competitive salary and will be considered for full-time positions based on their internship performance
Indianapolis-based internship only
Lilly arranges various intern activities including sporting events, dinners, lunch and learns, etc. to provide opportunities for socializing, professional development, and learning more about Lilly.
Interns will receive free parking at their work site, as well as access to Lilly’s LIFE fitness center and bike garage
If the intern's job position requires a move from another location, Lilly will provide subsidized housing
