Clinical Pharmacist - Outpatient Pharmacy - PRN Days - Ascension Providence Rochester Hospital - Rochester, MI
This is a PRN/contingent role without guaranteed hours which requires the ability to cover shifts as needed.
Pharmacy hours are Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Saturdays 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM

What You Will Do
As an Associate with Ascension Providence Rochester Hospital, you will have the opportunity to coordinate medication use, related education, and research to provide pharmaceutical care to patients.
Manages drug therapy protocols as a part of an interdisciplinary team.
Reviews, interprets and evaluates medication orders to identify, prevent and resolve potential or actual drug-related problems.
Provides drug information and education to medical staff and patients.
Documents interventions and their outcomes for use in drug therapy quality improvement efforts.
What You Will Need
Maintains a valid pharmacist license that complies with all requirements of the State of Michigan at time of hire/transfer date required.
Controlled Substance license at time of hire/transfer date required.
Bachelor's Level Degree
Doctor of Pharmacy graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy or BS Pharmacy graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy only with equivalent hospital pharmacy experience required.
One year of retail pharmacy experience
is very strongly preferred.
